Canyon Bike Warranty

It’s important to us that your bike is always in good condition, and that you remain completely satisfied with it. However, if issues should arise, you have a 6-year limited warranty on our frames, Canyon-engineered components, and forks for racing bikes, triathlon bikes and commuter bikes.

Canyon Bike Warranty

What does the 6 year limited warranty cover?

All Canyon bikes include a 6-year limited warranty on Canyon-manufactured frames, seatposts, cockpits, and forks for racing bikes, triathlon bikes and commuter bikes from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers material and processing defects that already existed on delivery. Any damage by external factors is not covered under warranty. For example, wear and tear.

The warranty is valid only for the actual direct purchaser and a consumer who purchased the bicycle in complliance with our Terms and Conditions. The warranty is valid for 6 years from the original date of delivery.

If the item to be replaced is no longer available in the original color, you will receive another color or an upgrade to the successor model.

What is not covered by warranty?

Here’s a few examples of what we do not cover:

  • Accidental damage (damage to the bike caused by a collision, dropping or similar)
  • Wear and tear
  • Damage from corrosion
  • Abuse (riding your bike outside of its intended use, see the bike classification)
Please note:
  • We value safety above all else. If the proper function or integrity of your bike has been compromised in any way, we ask that you cease use until it is safe to ride. Please consult with a member of our technical support team. More information.
  • If you damaged your bike in a crash, please report the damage, including pictures, using the ‘Crash replacement’ form. More information.
  • The damaged item must always be sent to us for inspection.
  • In our reboxing videos you can see how to securely store your bike in the Bike Guard for return shipment (see below).
  • Warranty: if you have problems with DT Swiss, Fox, Mavic, Reynolds, SRAM and Shimano components, the manufacturers offer servicing directly to customers. More information.
  • Warranty: If the item to be replaced is no longer available in the original colour, you will receive a different colour or an upgrade to the successor model.
  • For additional warranty information please visit Terms and Conditions.
Crash Replacement
  • In the event of an accident or severe crash, the high forces exerted on the frame and the fork can lead to structural failure during subsequent use. With our Crash Replacement program we offer the original purchaser, who is the actual direct purchaser and a consumer who purchased the bicycle in compliance with our Terms and Conditions, the opportunity to replace your damaged Canyon frame at a greatly reduced cost. This offer is valid up to three (3) years after the original date of purchase. You’ll receive the same or a similar frame from our current product range (without add-on parts such as seat post, front derailleur or stem).
  • The Canyon Crash Replacement Service is limited to the original direct purchaser and to damages that compromise the functionality of the bike. We reserve the right to suspend this service if we detect that the damage has been caused unreasonably.
  • Canyon Bicycles USA will not incur shipping or labor costs associated with our Crash Replacement Service. For the Crash Replacement of a non-Canyon part we will yield to the original manufacturer's Crash Replacement Policies.
  • In order to claim the Crash Replacement Service, please contact our service hotline by phone or email.
  • For additional crash replacement information please visit Terms and Conditions.
