The weight limit for all of our mountain bikes is the same regardless of size. The max rider weight on large or extra large mountain bikes is 265 lbs (120 kg), including rider gear and accessories.

Tuning the suspension on a large mountain bike is the same as any other. As a general rule of thumb, you can pump your rear shock to your weight plus additional gear (if you weigh 200 lbs and carry 5 lbs of gear, pump the shock to 205 PSI), but nuances can apply, so visit your shock manufacturer’s specific guidelines. For your fork, Fox and SRAM have charts printed generally on fork stanchions that can be followed. SRAM has a handy web app.

Generally speaking, Canyon bikes run approximately one size larger than other brands. For example, a XL mountain bike from Canyon may be equivalent to a XXL mountain bike from another maker.
