Canyon road bikes are rated to 120 kg / 265 lbs for most models; models with split leaf seat posts (S15 or S25 posts) are rated to 100 kg / 220 lbs; 2021 Aeroads are also rated to 100 kg / 220 lbs.

Canyons generally tend to run large compared to other makers. For example, a large road bike from Canyon may be equivalent to a XL road bike from another maker. In general, a large road bike from Canyon has roughly a 58 cm frame, an XL frame is roughly 60-62 cm, and XXL is roughly a 63-64 cm frame.

Our claimed model weights are taken from a size M road bike. Canyon ensures that the ride qualities and characteristics of all models are the same regardless of size; therefore, slight weight differences between model sizes can occur as frames are adjusted accordingly.

With XXL road bikes sizing to approximately a 64 cm road frame, Canyon can size riders upwards of 6’9/200 cm tall. Exact fits may vary, depending on each rider, model type, etc. We always recommend consulting with a bike fitter to help dial in the perfect fit.
