Flip Chip

Do you need maximum stability and control in corners? Or more ground clearance for technical climbing? What if you could have both? Using the Flip Chip on the rear suspension linkage, you can change the bike’s geometry to suit your riding style and riding conditions within a matter of seconds. Head tube and seat tube angle adjustment: 0.5 degrees. Bottom bracket height adjustment: 8 mm.

Silent protection

Straight from pro racing, right on to your bike – we designed the Spectral’s chainstay guards using feedback from our EWS mechanics. Their special structure dampens chain slap noise for a quiet, slick ride feel.

Guided internal cable routing

We’ve integrated a plastic cable channel inside the frame, making tune-ups and cable swaps fast and painless. Just thread brake and shifter cables into the chainstay, push them through, and they automatically come out the front of the front triangle.

The highlights of this component set

These components are made for serious trail action: Fox suspension, 1x12 Shimano shifting, and DT Swiss wheels round out a highly capable package.

Geometry Table

Understanding your bike's geometry is the key to a great fit and comfortable ride.

Bike classification

This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
