Canyon CP009 Carbon Cockpit

This new one-piece carbon cockpit is made for gravity riding with a premium design and ergonomics that meet the demands of the most exacting modern riders. We thoroughly test every cockpit we make in our test lab, so we can guarantee the very highest levels of manufacturing quality and durability. Depending on frame size, the bar width varies between from 760 mm (S) to 780 mm (M – XL).

Silent protection

Straight from pro racing, right on to your bike – we designed the Spectral’s chainstay guards using feedback from our EWS mechanics. Their special structure dampens chain slap noise for a quiet, slick ride feel.

Guided internal cable routing

We’ve integrated a plastic cable channel inside the frame, making tune-ups and cable swaps fast and painless. Just thread brake and shifter cables into the chainstay, push them through, and they automatically come out the front of the front triangle.

Geometry Table

Understanding your bike's geometry is the key to a great fit and comfortable ride.

Bike classification

This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
