主に200mm程度のロングトラベルの前後サスペンションを装備したダウンヒルバイクと、非常に頑丈な構造を持つダートジャンプバイクが該当するカテゴリー。 このカテゴリーに属するダウンヒルバイクは、練習を積んでテクニックのあるライダーが、障害物が大変多く、勾配が非常にきついチャレンジングなダウンヒルコースを、攻めて走ることを前提に設計されています。 また、このカテゴリーに属するダートジャンプバイクは、バイクパークでの非常に大きなジャンプに使用されることを前提に設計されています。 必ずライド前に、自転車の各部分にダメージが無いか点検してください。ダメージを負った部品をそのまま使用することは、大きな事故に繋がる可能性があります。安全に関わる重要な部品は、定期的に交換してください。 適切な装備を着用して身体を防護することは必須です。
