If your battery is not turning on follow the steps below:



• Restart your battery by holding the control switch in the off position for at least 8 seconds
• Then, move the control switch up into the on position until the blue LED illuminates
• Remove the battery from the bike and shake it to restart. Once the battery LEDs light up, put the battery back into the bike
• Connect your bike to the Fazua Toolbox software and update the firmware, even if it’s on the latest version already
• Finally, check that the connection of the battery plug inside the frame is secure

If your battery isn’t charging or won’t charge fully follow the steps below:



• Restart your battery by holding the control switch in the off position for at least 8 seconds
• Then, move the control switch up into the on position until the blue LED illuminates
• Remove the battery from the bike and shake it to restart
• Charge the battery for 1 hour or until the red LED appears. Put the battery back into the bike
• Connect your bike to the Fazua Toolbox software and update the firmware, even if it’s on the latest version already
• Finally, check that the connection of the battery plug inside the frame is secure

You may experience the issues below if the motor’s torque sensor is not correctly calibrated.



• Skipping under power
• Power is delayed
• Power is inconsistent



The Fazua Ride 60 system can calibrate itself over a 30 minute ride. Make sure the software has been updated to the latest version and the battery is fully charged.

If your motor stops providing assistance before the 25 km/h limit or cuts out intermittently, check the alignment of the magnet on the rear wheel and the sensor. If the problem continues, bring your bike to a service partner for inspection.

If your handlebar control is jammed or hard to move you may need to clean it or replace the Ergoring. To remove the control unit from the handlebar follow these steps or watch the video below. You’ll need a T10 Torx screwdriver.



• Remove the grip from the handlebar
• Use the Torx T10 tool to undo the clamp bolt and slide the control unit off. Don’t put the cable under tension
• When reinstalling make sure the controls are tightened to 0.5 Nm using the torque wrench supplied with your bike. Check that there is 4 mm of space between the control and any other components

The Fazua system requires a USB cable to connect to the Toolbox software. Make sure your cable meets the requirements below.



• The cable is USB-A to USB-C
• It is a USB 2.0 rated cable. USB 3.0 cables may not work
• It must be a cable designed for data transfer, a charging only cable may not work

The upper LED on the Fazua Hub or Control Hub is also the status indicator. It can show status changes or if a fault is present.



• Upper LED flashes blue - Ready for operation. Once a battery is installed the display will briefly flash blue to indicate you can now turn on the bike
• Upper LED flashes yellow - Soft fault. The system has a temporary or non critical malfunction. There may be a drop in performance, but your bike is safe to ride
• Upper LED flashes red - Hard fault. The bike will not operate and you will need to visit a service partner

You can connect to your bike using the Fazua app. If you are struggling to connect take a look at the steps below.



• Make sure the bike is turned on and battery is charged. Your phone will need to be connected to the internet
• Hold your phone close to the bike and make sure there are no other phones nearby that could interrupt the connection. Disconnect from any other Bluetooth devices like headphones
• Make sure the bike’s firmware is up to date and you have the latest version of the app on your phone
• If you’ve successfully connected before, remove the bike from the previously connected list on your phone, turn Bluetooth off for 5 seconds and try again
