An adjustable, integrated aero carbon cockpit

With fully integrated cable routing, stepless extension tilt adjustment, and premium one-piece carbon construction, this is the most streamlined, integrated, and adjustable Speedmax CF cockpit ever. To save extra watts, the cockpit interfaces neatly with the frame and is compatible with our aftersales hydration system developed exclusively for this bike.

Streamlined hydration system

Available separately on the Canyon webshop, enjoy 750 ml of rapid-access hydration with the Speedmax CF’s Front Hydration System, aero optimized in conjunction with the head tube for maximum aerodynamic performance. Using the integrated magnet, attach the drinking straw to the extensions for instant access, or onto the top tube for maximum aero efficiency. Cleaning is easy – just remove and re-mount with a single click – and the system comes with an integrated computer mount too.

Aerodynamic seatstays

With forms inherited from our top-line Speedmax CF SLX and CFR platforms, we designed the seatstays of the Speedmax using advanced CFD technology and wind tunnel testing. The outcome? The latest Speedmax, one of the most aero triathlon bikes ever created.

Bike classification

Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross and gravel bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tyre contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
