The three different carbon frame platforms (CF, SLX, and CFR) differ, however, in material content and layup. With the new CFR we went further than ever before on a mountain bike and achieved an incredibly low weight, making it our lightest hardtail frame to date and definitely one of the lightest frames on the market.

A 1015g* carbon frame

The new Exceed is now lighter, stiffer and stronger. And when we weigh the frame, we weigh the whole frame. Meaning that 1015g also includes artwork, chainsuck plate, chainstay protector, integrated seatpost clamp, and universal derailleur hanger.
