Road Disc by Canyon
Here's how we make the difference
If you were an early adopter of disc brakes on road bikes, then you probably know having disc brakes on an endurance-oriented bike is a match made in heaven. Not only is the Endurace CF SLX Disc 9.0 LTD with SRAM e-Tap HRD a heavenly ride, at 7.1 kilos, it is also race-ready lightweight. Durable, responsive, technically advanced, but still easy to maintain, the 820g Endurace CF SLX frame with SRAM hydraulic disc brakes would be the perfect bike to use for any endurance event like the Transcontinental, where comfort is key, but so is having a bike that you can enjoy scaling endless numbers of alpine passes. The Endurace uses Canyon’s Sport Geometry so that you can count on having just a slightly shorter reach and higher stack to save your back after long hours in the saddle. Combining this frame with the SRAM hydraulic disc brakes and their improved heat management means that if you are taking this bike up and over big mountains, you can count on the brakes always to be quick and effective. Augmenting the high performance level and ultimate durability, the DT Swiss ERC 1100 DICUT disc brake wheels offer the ideal concoction of lightweight, real-world aerodynamics as the interact with the frame, and a level of durability that make these perfect for those road adventures where you sometimes have to blaze new trails. Once you resolve to buy the Endurace CF SLX Disc 9.0 LTD, you will realize that having a bike of this level of quality and beauty will inspire and motivate you to push your cycling fitness and skills to new heights.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain impermanent contact to the ground. These are in general road-racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances, this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tire contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
