The Yellowstone AL 4.0 gives you more bike for your money. The frame was created by head designer Lutz Scheffer and the equipment carefully selected by us. The Shimano SLX rear derailleur in Shadow-design guarantees crisp and precise shifting. The streamlined design reduces the risk of damage caused by accidental contact with rocks and stones. The tried and tested XC 28 TK Coil fork from RockShox also has a fresh new look. Thanks to the outer rebound adjustment the rider can set up his suspension to meet his own needs and to those of the terrain.

The Avid Elixir 1 impresses with powerful braking that is just unique in this category and thanks to the Taper Bore technology, which is also used on top of the range models, these brakes always deliver great modulation. The ergonomically optimized levers fit snugly into the rider's hand. All this combines to give you great riding fun at an affordable price.

Replaceable rear derailleur hanger
Maximum stiffness and thereby precise shifting characteristics are ensured via the 3-D-forged dropouts. In order to prevent damage to the frame when crashing, the rear derailleur hanger is easy to replace.

100 % Canyon
The double butted aluminum frame is welded by hand and has reinforcing gussets at high stress points. Just like all Canyon frames the Yellowstone chassis is 100% developed by Canyon.

Anodized surface
The anodization creates a shimmering satin, scratch-proof surface. During the production of the black version of the model 5.0, the aluminium frame gets its final appearance through a chemical process without paint application and thus additional weight can be saved.
