If anyone knows what makes a winning bike, it’s Erik Zabel, Germany’s most successful professional cyclist. The frame, weighing just 790 g, was newly designed from scratch, and is setting new standards with its configuration of weight, stiffness, comfort and design. The 1¼ inch steering tube guarantees maximum stiffness for sprints, and maximum steering precision for starts. The patented, hollow, carbon fibre crown forms an aesthetic link between the super-lightweight One One Four SLX fork and the steering tube, and optimises the arrangement of carbon fibres. World class 11 speed electronic shifting – enter the brand new Dura-Ace Di2 from Shimano.
Faster and more precise gear shifts without lever movements – you can use the integrated Sprint Shifter to shift gear even in the sprint position. You also benefit from the extremely stiff and lighter four-arm Dura-Ace chainset, which from 2013 can also be used with compact chainrings. For this limited edition – just 40 units – only the best is good enough when it comes to the wheels. The high-end Mavic Cosmic Carbone 80 wheels are among the stiffest carbon fibre wheels in the world, and they are the first choice of sprint legend Erik Zabel.
Comfortable seat tube junction
absorbs severe shocks and vibrations
OneOne Four SLX
with weight saving carbon drop-outs
Asymmetric chain stays
guarantee optimum ride performance
Bottom bracket housing with carbon bearing seat
guarantees high levels of stiffness
VCLS Technology
Vertical Comfort, Lateral Stiffness – the VCLS Stays in conjunction with the VCLS Post improve the suspension properties of the frame effectively, without affecting the lateral stiffness. The VCLS Blades on the fork, comprising a special combination of basalt and carbon fibres, complete the Canyon VCLS Technology.
i-Lock headset system
With the special clamping mechanism of the i-Lock headset system the drilling of the steerer tube and the fitting of a clamping cone are no longer necessary. This ensures that the carbon shaft of the fork stays intact and offers maximum safety in every riding situation.
