Road Disc by Canyon
Here's how we make the difference
Whether you are a life-long roadie who would never consider railing some berms on a trail bike, or you are an avowed downhiller who thinks road bikes are missing the point, you’ll find something to love about the Endurace CF SLX 9.0 Di2. Swing a leg over it, and you’re apt to have an epiphany: this bike is amazing to ride. It mixes the absolute best of a carbon road bike with the ultimate in lightweight disc braking solutions to create an endurance bike that would be the love child of Roger de Vlaeminck and John Tomac. The carbon frame has been weight- and aero-optimised which means that though it doesn’t hit the low drag numbers that the Aeroad will chalk up in a wind tunnel, it is a frame designed to slip through the wind with ease. The Endurace geometry is intended to be extremely comfortable, especially for a bike that is equally at home in a crit series as a Sunday ride with the kids. It has the Canyon Sport Geometry which gives you a slightly higher stack than the Ultimate so that you can feel comfortable taking this out on long tours and not have to worry about doing your back in. Putting Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 components only adds to the bike’s sex appeal while the DT Swiss ERC 1400 Disc offer amazing acceleration weighing only 1540 g, while offering a durability necessary for long multi-day epics like a Transcontinental. There’s no better way to purchase long distance comfort than the Endurace CF SLX 9.0 Di2.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain impermanent contact to the ground. These are in general road-racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances, this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tire contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
