THE IMPOSSIBLE ROUTE

GLACIER TO TETON

Attempting to connect two national treasures—Glacier and Teton National Parks—via 750 miles of rugged forested singletrack in only 5 days.

THE MISSION

The breathtaking beauty of two of the United States’ most-treasured National Parks—Glacier in Montana, Teton in Wyoming—are separated by 750 miles of untamed mountains. Our challenge: Ride bicycles through wildlands, over countless lesser-known-but-equally-epic passes, across river canyons and forested singletrack to connect a route never before completed.

Riding unassisted, Jeremiah Bishop and Tyler “Vegan Cyclist” Pearce are joined by professional road and gravel cyclist Eddie Anderson to find out—is this rugged route possible in 5 days? Can the bikes survive the punishment of 100+ miles of off-road riding each day? Is it physically possible? And are grizzly bears vegan?

THE ROUTE

The Glacier-to-Teton Impossible Route pays homage to the United States’ beloved, protected wildernesses. An epic route of 750 miles climbing 61,000 feet in 5 days to connect two national landmarks. Starting in Montana, the riders follow the Tour Divide route before heading southwest through the high mountain-tops of Lolo National Forest towards Missoula, across the prairies and hidden river gorges of Rock Creek, obscure mining towns of Anaconda and cresting far-off mountains few have ventured via bicycle—true inspiration for riders looking for the path less-traveled.

THE BIKE

The Grizl is at home on rough gravel and even light singletrack. We’ve boosted the capability with traction and comfort-enhancing 45mm tires with big, powerful disc brake rotors—clever design and smart spec make Grizl the perfect do-anything, go-anywhere, all-you-might-ever-need Gravel bike.

Grizl brings tough Swiss Army Knife functionality to our proven performance DNA. The result is a Gravel bike that’s fast across mixed terrain, at home on the rough stuff, and ready for real adventure. The Grizl boasts an extended wheelbase, for added stability, while short stems and wide bars lend the steering a responsiveness at the controls that’s a blast on tighter trails.
